On October 12th, 2008, the New Orleans Saints beat the Oakland Raiders like a steel drum in Trinidad during carnival. The Raiders struck first on a 24-yard Sebastian Janikowski field goal. It would be the only time the scoreboard operator in the Superdome would have to touch the Raider point tally. What a long, strange trip it’s been for Napoleon Harris. Harris was selected by the Raiders as the 23rd overall pick in the 2002 NFL draft out of Northwestern. He quickly found his way into the starting lineup for the next three years before being shipped off to Minnesota as part of the fruitless trade that brought Randy Moss to the East Bay.
