The Destruction of the Broncos Will Not Be Televised

There will be no local coverage of the Oakland Raiders and their eminent destruction of the Denver Broncos this Sunday.

The NFL was unwilling to give the Raiders another one day grace period to sell out Oakland Coliseum as they did for the Monday Night opener against the Chargers.

Thanks for nothing, Roger Goodell!

It’s not like the state of California isn’t trapped in the worst budget crisis since the making of Apocalypse Now. Our flawed Governator should have been given a Total Recall for his Terminator approach to line item vetoes.

Enough with the Pumping Iron puns!

The numbers don’t lie. JaMarcus Russell owned the Broncos in 2008 (27/37, 337 YDS, 3 TDs, 0 INTs, 127.3 Passer Rating). So if you are unable to see the game this Sunday and don’t want to stay up until 3am watching the NFL.com replay, here is a video I put together over on Red Zone Re-Cutter giving you an idea of what you can expect.

    Well, Chris:

You meant to say “imminent”, which it wasn’t.

Black hole? Looked more like the hit Black ice and never seen it coming! Maybe Chris needs to predict when the Raiders come out of the hole and play some football. Russell in 2007/8? What’s that about? But hey, luck was on the Raiders side. Yes, indeed. Most of their fans didn’t have to watch that game! And just like they said, Blacked out!
