Only Goodell can judge Cable now
Citing a lack of evidence and inconsistencies in the story told by accuser Randy Hanson, the Napa District Attorney has decided not to pursue a case against Tom Cable.
Now, the non-distracted Raiders can get back to their business at hand.
The announcement made on Thursday afternoon brings the two month media saga to a close.
While Cable is free from the long arm of the law, he’s not yet out of the reach of Roger Goodell. The NFL has yet to make an official decision as to whether or not Cable should be punished for his non-actions. One must wonder what Goodell’s minions could possibly know that the Napa PD doesn’t.
A saddened Hanson likened the decision to the bitter loss his beloved Raiders suffered in the 1977 AFC title game. While disappointed bloggers and Raider hating journalists likened the announcement to the Silver and Black actually having a winning team. Now, they’ve got nothing to write about and even less to look forward to.
Sorry folks, there’s nothing to see here.

I would like to think the Napa County DA has bigger fish to fry than one guy punching another guy in the face, or throwing him into a wall or whatever.
Then they call a press conference to announce they’re NOT pressing charges ? Nice waste of taxpayers money.
It’s like a bunch of girls watching a fight at the schoolyard at lunch.
Move along girls, fight’s over.
