I think with the Coaches in place, and the young players surrounding Russell (young himself) it would be difficult for his to succeed right away. 3rd season yeah, but played in 2. So, 2nd season. So what to do? you cant let go the rookie receivers as they also need time. Cable is not fit for this situation. He isn't a mentor or an inspiring type to lead a young team like this oakland raiders.

Cable I believe has made a huge mistake starting DHB. It doesn't matter when he was picked, he is not better the Javon Walker or even Louis murphy for that matter (at least to this point). The starters for WIde outs should have been Walker and Schilens. Murphy as the 3. Russell needs veteran players around him to walk him through it.

On top of all this, which I could never understand, the overwhelming negativity by the fans and their lack of patience. Successful franchises build a foundation before they get anywhere. You guys want it NOW. Get a reality check. It aint gonna happen your way.

To difficult a situation for any young player to succeed in.
