He can hold Jackson over Cable like a sledgehammer..always the threat of being fired. Jackson will publically declare his commitment to Jamarcus, Cable will make cryptic comments about him. Al loves keeping his head coach in the dog house; he had Art Shell breathing down Shanahan's neck, he had Mike White ready to steal Shell's job, he pitted Rob Ryan against Kiffin...all very predictable stuff This all makes Davis feel important, like a spoiled child, and it GUARANTEES 2010 will be another 5 or 6 win season, with all the dysfunctional drama that goes along with it. If you buy season tickets you are rewarding Al Davis for holding YOUR TEAM ransom. Hey, whatever blows your dress up. Keep pretending the Raiders are on the right track. Wear that face paint.
