This will be a test for Al and his philosophy of paying money to good players…Jano, should be the highest paid kicker in the NFL based on his 10 years experience and his kicking results, but sometimes the Raiders would rather sign a 4.3 cornerback for millions and allow a quality player like Jano to move on. I hope Al doesn’t mess around with Jano’s signing and show how much he is appreciated playing for a team that that has been terrible for 8 years which has reduced Jano’s opportunity to really shine in the NFL. He can break the nfl longest field goal with ease, but I have my doubts that he will ever be in the position to do it. Jano is consistency which we have lacked for a long time, its time to pay Jano not for just doing his job but for staying in support of the Raiders from day one. I’m pulling for you Jano, I just hope they make it right at the pay window. Let all Raider fans watch how this plays out. It should of been done by now, so there is some apprehension on what they are going to do. Everyone knows what the kickers are getting paid..come on Raiders, pay him now and quit f##king around with the guy. He is entitled to the money. It’s time to pay up…..

I don’t think Jano minds being a Raider. They drafted him the first round. No one else would have. They gave him good money for a kicker. They stuck with him when he missed a lot of important kicks early in his career. Sure now, he’s really good, but he was pretty average up until a few years ago. I think he gives the Raiders first shot no matter what happens. And they deserve his loyalty in this case.
