Memo to Al Davis: Fire Tom Cable, Lose Raider Nation
Not even 24-hours have passed since the Oakland Raiders ended their 7th straight season of 11 or more losses with (what else?) a loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Already the whispers of Tom Cable’s demise are flooding the rumor mill. Here is a small piece of advice for Al Davis. Keep Cable for all of 2010 or be warned that your faithful-to-a-fault fan base will publicly divorce you. Perhaps that billboard wasn’t enough of a warning sign for Davis. Without an adequate quarterback, the Oakland Raiders are doomed to remain in 11-loss hell. After a 21-13 loss at home to the playoff bound Baltimore Ravens, it is clear that the biggest albatross hanging around the neck of pro football in the East Bay is one JaMarcus Russell.
