…As for David K., I hate to say it, but I agree with his general point. The run-back and the Jones-Drew TD were not flukes. They were break-downs in discipline and execution — which happen to even the best teams. In this instance, unfortunately, they happened to ruin an otherwise well-played game by the Raiders. So, “fluke” is the wrong word.
Regardless, David K. sounds like a total ass-jacket.

I grew up a Raiders fan in Colorado, so it’s almost as fun to watch the Broncos lose as it is to watch the Raiders win. The two Bronco games each year are my own personal Super Bowl: A Raiders win over the Donks means the season is a success even if it’s one of only 2 or 3 wins. Conversely, the Raiders could go to the Super Bowl, but if they’ve lost to Denver, the season has a gaping hole. Which means this weekend is huge: These teams always seem to split no matter which team is superior the rest of the year. So we gotta watch out for Denver- they have nothing to lose except the memory of the worst de-pantsing in recent NFL memory!

Wow. I always heard stories about the extent of Raider Myopia, but I never thought I would see it first hand. You got beat. Plain and simple. It was a great battle, but the outcome was no fluke. And despite all the dirty, nasty, childish behavior your players weren’t penalized for, they still lost. I guess those other six losses were a fluke too? I guess it’s totally a fluke that you’re sitting under .500 right now? And I guess it’s a fluke that you’re third in your own division? Good luck against the Broncos, the only team you’re ahead of. And enjoy all those Super Bowls you won in recent years….in your IMAGINATION.
