This is a (dream) list of restricted and non-restricted free agents that could help the Raiders in 2011.
|Brent Grimes CB, Atlanta, (2010 Stats: 87 tackles, 5 INT, 23 pass breakups). With the imminent departure of Namdi, we are going to be hurting at cornerback.
Malcom Floyd, WR, San Diego, (2010 Stats: 37 catches, 717 yards, 6 TD) The Raiders saw in two games against them, Floyd caught 13 passes for 285 yards. Oakland needs a veteran receiver to mentor that young corps. Vincent Jackson would also be a great asset, but there is a great big T.O. type ego that goes with that dude!
Paul Posluszny, LB, Buffalo, (2010 Stats: 151 tackles, 2 sacks) Posluszny, again someone to stop the run. (We sucked at that this season.)
Antonio Cromartie, CB, New York Jets, (2010 Stats: 42 tackles, 3 INT, 17 pass breakups) No Namdi, we need help. S.O.S.
Tamba Hali, LB, KC, (52 tackles, 14.5 sacks, 4 forced fumbles) Hali is a beast. We need an intimidating force on our defense, Hali fits that bill.
Mathias Kiwanuka, DE, NY Giants, (2010 Stats: 11 tackles, 4 sacks, missed 13 games) A neck injury shortened Kiwanuka season this year, but this guy is the real deal! Imagine the Broncos or Chiefs lining up against this guy.
Mike Tolbert, FB, San Diego, (2010 Stats: 182 carries, 735 yards, 11 TD) Mark my words Nation; we will miss Michael Bush when he leaves! Tolbert is a bruiser back with skills similar to Bush. Tolbert has great hands similar to Bush. Tolbert also lines up as a tail back as much as full back.
Sidney Rice, WR Minnesota, (2010 Stats: 17 catches, 280 yards, 2 TD) Hip surgery slowed Rice this season, but he has the skills and the upside to be a prolific game changer in the NFL.
