Winston Moss Has One Less Suitor

There really is no telling what the Raiders are ultimately going to do with the vacant defensive coordinator position. But if they’re still mulling over the option of brining in Winston Moss for the gig then they’ve got a little less competition.

Today the Arizona Cardinals hired Pittsburgh Steelers assistant Ray Horton for their DC position. Moss was rumored to be in consideration for the job in Zona but clearly that is no longer an option. So Moss is free to keep going west until he reaches the East Bay should be he and the Raiders desire each other’s company.

Of course this comes on the heels of Raiders promoting Greg Biekert to linebackers coach which was a job thought to be in the wheelhouse of newly rehired “defensive coach” Chuck Bresnahan. So no news is, well, no news. As of now there is still a job opening in Oakland for defensive coordinator and there are still no interviews that have been setup. At least none that have been made public that is.
