Even with the needs of a OG/C in the second round. Seymour and Kelly will provide the leadership needed to keep his butt in line. I can't see any football player, especially a rookie, disrespecting and not wanting the respect of those two guys. He's a 3-down DT, unlike Powe. 3 of our 4 DTs are in their 30's. When those two are ready to retire, as Raiders hopefully, Austin will be ready to start if he hasn't seized the job already. His motivation may be money and as a second or unlikely third round pick, he will be playing for a contract his physical abilities merit. I’d rather go for Marvin Austin, if still available.
