Out of Bounds: 5 Quirky Questions for a Jets Blogger

Sunday is set to be an early tipping point in the season for the Oakland Raiders. With revenge on their minds and the image of Mark Sanchez going hot dog on the sideline still fresh in their heads, the Silver and Black have ample fuel for the competitive fire.

To get ready for the sold out home opener we exchanged questions with Marc Greenberg of The Jet Press. As the lead writer of the best Jets blog on the net, Marc is a fountain of knowledge for all things Green and White. Greenberg was kind enough to engage in the unique JBB line of questioning to help us better know Sunday’s foe.

Q:  If Rex Ryan were a stand-up comedian whose act would his most resemble?

A: Rex would probably go old school and resemble Don Rickles.  He’s loud, he’s proud and he doesn’t care who he offends.

Q: Richard Seymour has 3 sacks or Mark Sanchez eats an entire California Roll on the sideline: Which is more likely to happen Sunday?

A: Definitely Seymour with the 3 sacks.  Sanchez wouldn’t eat that much rice.  He has a GQ photo shoot next week.

Q: If Bart Scott and Antonio Cromartie were a wrestling tag team what would their name be and what would be their finishing move?

A: Tag team name would be ‘Pants on the Ground.’   The finishing move would be bart scott hitting you so hard you’d lose your pants, and then Cromartie would get you pregnant.

Q: If you locked JaMarcus Russell and Vernon Gholston in a broom closet with only a cell phone and a 5-pound weight who gets out alive and why?

A: Trick question.  Nobody gets out.  Gholston would go to tackle Russell to stop him from leaving, miss, and knock himself out by hitting his head  on the 5 pound weight.  And Russell would start for the door, lose interest and tweet some friends with the phone in the closet.

Finally…the most important question of all…

Q: Shonn Greene: Start or Sit?

A: This is the hardest question of them all.  Shonn Greene was supposed to put up 1500 yards this season.  Instead, I can see him putting up 500. Stay away from Greene this week.  Sanchez is going to the air and get Burress in your lineup.
