Jamarcus returns to Oakland!

As I watched Sunday’s game verses the Kansas City Chiefs, I couldn’t help but reflect on the days when Jamarcus Russell was our quarterback. Big time flashbacks! I had that same hopeless feeling in the pit of my stomach knowing we were probably going to lose no matter what we did.

It all started when Darren McFadden got his foot injured in the first-quarter. I was thinking “worst freaking case scenario ever”! Then Kyle Boller decided to channel his inner Jamarcus and decided to throw balls to the other team like they were long lost teammates. Three interceptions later, Boller was pulled out of the game.

Boller was replaced by #3, Carson Palmer. Palmer was greeted warmly by the Raider Nation. I’m sure the cheers were to welcome Palmer but also to say adios to Jamarcus Boller. Carson looked real rusty but showed flashes of old Palmer. The play calling was atrocious and did not help Palmer ease back into the NFL. Every pass play was outside, right at KC’s over achieving corner backs. Nothing over the middle.

Jacoby Ford was man handled by KC’s defensive backs all day! And what happened to Kevin Boss. Throw the damn ball at him once in a while! Poor game planning!

All in all, I felt sick after the game. I was upset but realized, that was not our team on the field Sunday. Positives; I know Carson will come back strong and Hue will game plan better for our next W. The D looked better and DVD got his first NFL pick! Curry looked solid and was very active. Hang in there Nation, there are blue skies and W’s in our near future!

GO RAIDERS!

@simnonizr & @Justblogbaby :I knew we were in trouble starting Kyle Boller, seen enough of his antics last week. I am not so sure Plamer is the anwser either, remember he’s been trending downward for the last two years. I believe that if Tyrelle Pryor is the future then the future has arrived and Hue needs to recognize that. It’s my honest assessment that he would have given us a better chance to win than the other two. It’s for sure he could have not done any worse. Let me close by stating this, sometimes baptism under fire is not a bad thing. At least he would have gained valuable playing experience ,which he has to get at some point. To all the critics and pundits I say this Tyrelle Pryor is Tyrelle Pryor and not Jamarcus Russell and you can take that to the BANK……….
