True Raider Football

What’s up Raider Nation? Now I don’t want go all prophetic on you guys, but the way the Oakland Raiders played on Thursday night was the way they should have played all year. That’s what I’ve always preached to everyone who cares to listen. Raider football has always been ball control run offense which opens up long passes down the field. Also an aggressive team defense is also a staple to the Raiders. That’s exactly how we played on a national stage Thursday and that’s why we won. Al Davis would have been proud.

It didn’t hurt that Denarius Moore and Michael Bush play out of this world. They were crazy good and both played possessed! (Also that we actually pass the ball to Kevin Boss a few times, amazing. You mean to tell me that Kevin Boss can catch a ball? It’s true!) It didn’t hurt that the retired or I should I say ex-retired NFL player Carson Palmer lit up the San Diego Charger defense for almost 300 yards. The lack of the yellow hankies on the field of play was also reassuring. Confident, controlled and disciplined, now that Oakland Raider football!

I’m very proud of my Oakland Raiders this week. I’m proud of the moves that Hue Jackson has made to get us where we are now. I’m proud of the way that we’re coming together as a team. I’m most proud say that we’re number ONE in AFC West. Suck it haters!
