There hasn’t been a single moment this season when the Oakland Raiders have been at full strength. Going all the way back to camp injuries have prevented this squad from having even a single practice with every player healthy and active.
Despite all those injury woes Hue Jackson has done an admirable job of keeping the Oakland ship afloat and on course. While there have been plenty of detours along the way, the final destination is still in sight on the horizon.
That is why getting all the help possible for Sunday is so necessary.
Today Jacoby Ford had his most meaningful action in a month. According to reports Ford was able to participate in most of the drills at practice and is said to be on track to play Sunday.
Before we get too pregnant with this news of Jacoby’s return it is important to keep in mind that he’ll have to make it through the week before being given the official clearance by Coach Jackson. So let’s hope there are no setbacks.
Ford would bring yet another weapon back into the mix for Carson Palmer and would give the Raiders their full compliment of receivers.
In addition to Ford, Michael Huff was also able to practice today but Huff Daddy has already said there is no way he wasn’t playing. In fact, Huff told the Chronicle that he is currently at “137%”.
As for Darren McFadden…well…you know the drill by now. Still not able to practice and looking highly unlikely to play.
