Talking Raiders Draft With NFL Mocks

I am an admitted football nerd. It starts with high school games on Fridays in the fall, followed by college on Saturdays and naturally the Raiders and the NFL on Sundays. My weekends are spent watching any and every game I possibly can, scanning the field for every player that catches my eye. So when it comes time to talk draft it’s as if the entire year has been prep for this big final exam.

Naturally I can’t do it all by myself. Being that football is a team sport it’s only natural that football blogging should require the same team effort.

If you’re among the great readers of JBB then you’ve no doubt been reading many of the draft profiles we’ve been publishing daily to help get Raider Nation ready for the NFL’s big dog and pony show. As much ball as I do watch I won’t profess to have intimate knowledge of every prospect we breakdown. That’s where my boys over at NFL Mocks have my back. Their prospect database and round the clock coverage of all things draft related helps make life much easier for me.

Recently NFL Mocks co-editor Jesse Bartolis reached out to yours truly to discuss the past, present and future drafts of the Oakland Raiders. You can read the full interview here.

Jesse and his staff work tirelessly to get all the latest and greatest info and opinions on the draft and do so year round. So I’d highly suggest that after you’re done doing your daily reading of JBB that you cruise over to NFL Mocks. You don’t have to be a draft insider to know what they know. All you’ve got to do is make NFL Mocks a daily read.
