The classy Silver and Black uniforms worn by the Oakland Raiders have once again been singled out as among the best in all of sports. ESPN’s uniform power rankings has Oakland rated 13th best overall good for 4th best in the NFL and first among all other AFC West teams.
No real surprise there. Ever since Al Davis implemented the simple yet effective color scheme, logo and branded Raider football it’s been nothing but decades filled with the best fashion in sports.
Let’s not forget it was the Raiders that kick started the sports clothing craze. Before then you’d rarely see people sporting their team colors outside of the stadium. These days people are rocking Raider gear at work.
Ahead of Oakland in the NFL uniform hierarchy are Pittsburgh, Green Bay and Chicago. No shocker again that we’re talking about franchises that have largely stuck to the same uniform patterns forever and a day.
Behind the Raiders amongst their AFC West foes are the Chiefs buried at #47, the Chargers and their powder blue hideousness at #51 and way down near the bottom are the Donkeys and their ugly orange at #91.
