Chiefs Fans To Send Strong Message To Management

Remember a couple of years ago when the Raiders and Chiefs were battling it out for AFC West supremacy? I do. Problem is that feels more like two decades ago as opposed to two years.

With both Kansas City and Oakland firmly planted back at the bottom of the AFC West the unrest is rising amongst both rival fan bases. So distraught with the team’s management are a group of Chiefs that they’re planning on flying a plane around Arrowhead Stadium today with a banner attached.

What will that banner read, you ask?

According to PFT the message that will be flown around the parking lot today is simple and direct.

Can’t say that I feel bad for any of the pain KC is experiencing. Too many Chiefs chumps were pounding their chests like a war drum when Piloi was hired and Cassel was acquired. Now they want both gone. Don’t go counting those chickens before their hatched, Cheifs faithful.

However this does bear a similar resemblance to something a group of Raiders fans did a few years ago. Who can forget the Message to Al billboard campaign? So while Raider Nation feels nothing for those long-suffering Chiefs fans we do understand frustrations with management.

At the moment the Nation is very frustrated but we’re willing to give the new regime the benefit of the doubt – for now. Losing is one thing. But if we keep seeing no-show efforts like the one in Denver then Reggie McKenzie can expect to see his name on a billboard, banner or featured prominently on this blog in some very unflattering ways.
