Raiders Avoid Blackout Without Extension

With the NFL’s new and improved rules on the requirements necessary to avoid local blackouts it’s not like you can truly call it an accomplishment to avoid blackouts. That said it is saying something that for the first time in three home dates the Raiders won’t need an extension to hit their mark.

Today it was announced that Sunday’s contest against the Saints will indeed be broadcast on local TV.

Lately the Silver and Black have had to ask the league for a little extra time to hit their number. Not the case for this week and that saying something considering the last two games.

But Raider Nation’s faith is unwavering. Our patience is being tested but we’ll save that discussion for a later time.

For now just know you’ll be able to watch the Raiders from the comfort of your home if you’re in NorCal and you don’t have tickets.

How is that possible, the game selling out? This team sucks!!! I am disgusted by the play of this team. Wow, this D needs so much help, I don’t know where to begin. How about this new coach, is he not supposed to be a D wiz kid? I am done watching this crap they try and call football for this year. My time is to valuable to waste watching a bunch of over paid guys that can’t play the game. This is the worst time ever to be a Raider fan!!! I thought it was bad when we had to deal with JaMarcus Russel, but this takes the cake. Final score: New Orleans 58 to Raiders 20!!!
