No Reason For Raiders To Pursue Tim Tebow

Debby Wong-USA TODAY Sports

So, the most beloved worst quarterback in NFL history has hit the open market. Today the New York Jets made official what has long been speculated by giving Tim Tebow his walking papers. All that remains now is for the former Florida Gator to clear waivers and some sucker other team giving him the chance to again do nothing other than watch from the sideline on Sundays.

Whatever Tebow magic there is left in the tank will likely never be seen again in the States. I think Canada would be an ideal setting for the gospel of Tebow to next spread.

Naturally the speculation on where Tebow will land has already begun even though his release it not yet official. And while Reggie McKenzie is surely willing to try anything to help improve his franchise inking Tebow would be a massive mistake and an even bigger waste of time.

Apparently Tebow is unwilling to play any position other than QB. With the Raiders already pot-committed to Matt Flynn not to mention the ensuing battle between Terrelle Pryor and Tyler Wilson on the horizon adding Tebow to the mix would only create unnecessary drama.

Now if Tebow were willing to try and adapt his skills to a position in which he’d better help his team then there might be something to talk about. But that seems as likely as Rex Ryan being employed in New York one year from now.

Tebow showed he is more interested in pumping his own ego than in playing the team sport of football.

    Fuck him.

You experts in the media got what you wanted Tebow is out of football for now so you can stop bad mouthing him. Some of us still have faith in him as he is and not what you may want him to be.

I’d like to hear Sparano’s take on Tim Tebow. He’s been around him, worked w/ him and the owner of the Dolphins just called Sparano a monster that destroyed the entire team. What I like about Tebow is that he can play multiple positions and he’d be on special teams too. But, he’ll got to Canada and or Europe this year and come back next year and play in the new Professional Football league that is starting in 2014. By the way Terrelle Pryor should be playing slot receiver, TE, QB, and on special teams. There is no reason for him to compete, he should be on the field now playing four different roles.

Tebow “Just Wins, Baby.” Get that man a jersey and a helmet. He can have Flynn’s locker.

Give Tebow Dennis Allen’s job! I’m bet he could be a better head coach opposed too a starting QB in the NFL. Cause at the end of the day ……. There are no excuses, only results. Go Raiders!!!!
