Bold Predictions: Darren McFadden Will Show His True Worth This Season (Hint: It’s A lot Of Money Worth)

This is the debut of Just Blog Baby on-going series, regarding our bold predictions for the Raiders season this year.

We’re starting off with a bold prediction that many Raiders fans hope to see this season, and it includes none other than Darren McFadden.

Darren McFadden, since the Raiders made him the fourth overall selection in the 2008 draft, has played with fans emotions. First he struggled to produce with the team in his first two seasons, not even rushing for 500 yards in each season. He then blew up in his third year, rushing for 1,157 yards and seven touchdowns. And then in the past two seasons has been struggling with injuries.

This is a big year for McFadden. He is entering the final year of his contract with the Raiders. On most occasions, players usually show their true worth. I highly expect to see McFadden break the bank next off-season because he will have a pro-bowl year with the Raiders. I am still finding it hard to believe that the big year in 2010 was a fluke year for him.

Will Darren McFadden have a bounce back year this season?

88 votes & no discussion of why you voted how you did? I think 2010wwas the fluke not the other way around. Great talents get it done some how some way every year.

There’s no denying Dmc’s talent.. And I can’t say it was fluke cuz he hasn’t been healthy if he was healthy and had a bad season cool call it a fluke.. But how can it be said its a fluke when he’s been hurt.. Last season was a debacle.. Changing to a running scheme that clearly isn’t suited for him or the line we trotted on the field.. With a power running scheme and hopefully him stayin healthy he will easily eclipse 1000+ yards

love DMC but his assertion that he’s “not injury prone” doesn’t hold water. (he did say it last year) he can run but stay healthy? I hope so because were gonna need him. That rookie back does look like M. bush at first glance so maybe it’ll be a good year either way.
I voted yes with my heart but if it was at a betting window I’d have to bet the other way or get really good odds….
