2013 Raiders Training Camp: Sio Moore Tweets That He Will Participate in Practice Monday After Injury Setback

After impressing on the first two days of camp, fans and media were let down on Sunday as rookie Sio Moore sat out of the Raiders first padded practice of the 2013/14 with an injury. The Connecticut product joined Kaluka Maiava on the list of Raiders players sitting out of practice on Sunday and with head coach Dennis Allen employing a secretive stance on injuries from Day One this season, we were all left in the dark on Moore’s status.

Well thank God for twitter.

Moore, quite the user of twitter, revealed late on Sunday night that he was cleared to participate in practice tomorrow, something that will surely please Raider Nation.

The Raiders resume practice in Napa on Monday. As of late Sunday night there is no word on whether or not practice will be with or without pads.

I can’t wait to see Sio Moore play! Hopefully Nick Roach grooms him into the position & he becomes one of the NFL’s next elite linebackers. Plus if he turns out to be the defensive beast we all think he’ll be, I just might be able to salvage my #55 jersey. Since McClown sucked its practically new! Just need to remove McClown’s lettering, and save myself $150! Get better Sio & Go Raiderrrrs!
