Raiders Training Camp: Sio Moore, D.J. Hayden Return, Charles Woodson Absent Monday Morning

After some absences on Sunday, the Raiders got two of their top draft picks back to practice in Napa as Dennis Allen prepares to put his players through the paces early on Monday morning.

D.J. Hayden and Sio Moore were confirmed to be at practice early in the 9:00 o’clock hour. But their veteran safety would not be joining Hayden and Moore at practice on Monday as Charles Woodson would be confirmed to be absent for the first time in 2013.

It appears that Hayden will likely not be debuting on Friday when the Raiders travel to play the New Orleans Saints as he still has yet to be cleared for practice contact, let alone full game contact against an opponent out to intentionally hurt you. Moore’s return is a relief for the Raiders who are high on Moore as a potential starter at the outside linebacker position after he shined in the preseason opener with the Cowboys.

Oakland is also still missing 3/4 of a defensive line in Vance Walker, Pat Sims and Lamarr Houston as their decimated defensive line doesn’t appear to get much healthier as training camp rolls on.

Practice is currently underway in Napa and Just Blog Baby will be updating you with Monday’s news and notes as all of the stories unfold at 2013 Raiders Training Camp. Follow us on twitter (@JustBlogBaby) or check back online throughout the day for our extensive coverage.
