We at Just Blog Baby are beginning a new segment in which we contact an opposing teams fan from one of our sister websites, and we conduct a short interview with them.  In this, the first edition, I had the pleasure of contacting and interviewing Michael Praser, a Staff Writer at www.beargoggleson.com.  Not only is he a writer for a blog about the Chicago Bears, but he is a Bears fan.  He’s the kind of fan who makes his family wear Bears jerseys for his family pictures.  Sound familiar Raider Nation.  I know it does for me.  Look, he’s a “glass is half full” kind of fan.  He’s not going to feed you a line, he’s going to come at you straight and tell you how it is.

I asked Mike five questions about his team and the upcoming game, and these were his responses:

1. Was it a surprise to you that Lovie Smith was let go, even after a winning season?

Answer- “I will admit, I was completely caught off guard when the Bears fired Lovie Smith. I remember I was at home and my cousin Andy texted me a picture of Jon Gruden with the caption “Dear Santa……” I responded with “Not going to happen. We are stuck with Lovie.” And he broke the news. I couldn’t believe it.”

Nice to hear a perspective from a opponent pre-game. Plus he showed some love for the faithful. Go Raiders!

My step brother & good friend are die hard bear fans, and both were extremely mad at Urlacher & Bears for not making a deal happen. Imagine Bostic’s potential with Urlacher guiding him along this year. They both were pissed that Smith was let go, and expect Bears D to be sub-par compared to other years. My step brother stated even if jimmy graham was a Bears TE Cutler still wouldn’t find him open because Cutler never checks down the board, but instead holds on until Marshall becomes open, or takes sack. Only way Bennett is passed too is if the play is designed to go to him. Those are opinions coming from Bear fans themselves ! Go Raiders!
