2. Do you like the new look Bears under Marc Trestman?

Answer- “I do like the new look Bears under Marc Trestman. From what I could observe during training camp, Coach Trestman is bringing a new level of organization and energy to the team which I believe it has been lacking the last couple of years. Under Lovie Smith, everything was status quo and the players were too comfortable with everything. It is also refreshing to see the Bears focus on offense for once. It’s not like they are ignoring the defense, but that side of the ball is already working just fine. It is working so well that new defensive coordinator Mel Tucker came in and learned the defense so he could call it the same way instead of making the players learn new terminology. I find that amazing that a coach would do that. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

3. Do you think that the addition of TE-Martellus Bennett is the missing link in the Bears offense?  If not, who is?

Answer- “I think that the addition of Martellus Bennett was a needed piece, but there are still question marks with the offense. The Bears need more depth at the Tight End position and the offensive line is a work in progress with two rookies on the right side of the line. You have rookie first round pick Kyle Long at right guard and rookie fifth round pick Jordan Mills at right tackle.  I have been quite impressed with Kyle Long’s athleticism and power, but he is still inexperienced. Jordan Mills has been outperforming incumbent tackle J’Marcus Webb, yet J’Marcus Webb was performing so poorly that he just accepted a reduction in pay. There are still questions at wide receiver as well. Will Alshon Jeffery be able to stay healthy and have a productive season? Will slot receiver Earl Bennett be able to get back on the field after the multiple concussions he has suffered?”
