The Oakland Raiders are in Seattle, Washington, for the final pre-season game against the Seattle Seahawks.  Yes, it’s the fourth game and most fans don’t care too much for it, because the starters won’t be playing much.  However, I have learned to really enjoy the final pre-season game for a simple reason.  The players are trying to make the team, and there is always somebody who rises to the occasion.  Who will it be tonight?

First and foremost, Raider Nation will be keeping a close eye on Terrelle Pryor and his performance in his first start of the 2013 season.  “It’s about time,” is a common statement made by many of the fans who have wanted Pryor to start since he was taken in the Supplemental Draft of 2011.  On Friday, August 23rd, against the Chicago Bears, Pryor had one of his best games as a professional.  Pryor ignited the home crowd with his unique skill-set that allowed him to scramble away from trouble.  His passes were accurate with a lot of velocity behind them.  His decisions were, to me, some of the best I have seen him make.  They say that the “cream rises to the top,” well Pryor is definitely rising.
