At 6′ 3″ and 200 pounds, Streater is a big target for Terrelle Pryor.  In the game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Streater showed his ability to come to the aid of Pryor.  In the first quarter on 3rd down and 7 yards to go, Pryor threw to Streater for 18 yards and a first down, and in the 3rd quarter on 3rd down and 10 yards to go, Pryor hit Streater again for 17 yards and a first down.  This shows that Pryor had faith in Streater’s ability to make the play.

This is a big year for the Oakland Raiders football team.  This year, they are proving themselves to the football world.  The football world has stated that the Raiders won’t amount to much of anything in 2013, except for a first round 2014 draft pick.  With players like Rod Streater emerging from the darkness to write their names in NFL history, the Raiders will show the world that it was wrong.  Look for Streater to become more involved in the offense, and look for him to be the go-to guy when Pryor is pressured out of the pocket.  I see this as a 1000+ yards receiving year for Streater.

Take a look at highlights from Rod Streater’s rookie season with the Oakland Raiders (2012) below:
