Terrelle Pryor tweets that he "doesn't remember much" after concussion

A drive that looked like it was on the way to being a silver lining in a strong second half from the Oakland Raiders in a losing effort to the Denver Broncos became a series that threatens Oakland’s hopes of staying in the playoff hunt.

Taking the ball on a quarterback draw near the goal line, Terrelle Pryor was stuffed just inside of the tackle box by Wesley Woodyard. The hit was clearly helmet to helmet, but because Pryor was the primary ballcarrier a concussion inducing play went unflagged.

After the game Pryor was confirmed to have a concussion, and this morning he went to twitter to assure everyone that he feels fine. Still one of his tweets may or may not be a pressing concern as Pryor says that he can’t remember much due to the hit he suffered late in the game.

We all know that Pryor is a warrior based on his experience at Ohio State and how hard he has now fought to be the Raiders starting quarterback. If he clears the NFL’s concussion protocol checklist there is no doubt that he will be standing on the field at the O.co Coliseum to take on the Washington Redskins. Passing that test will be the big question this week as it is impossible to rehab a brain injury and Pryor is at the mercy of his own health at this point. Here is to wishing that Pryor is okay and can return as soon as possible provided it is safe for him to return.
