Steelers (-3) over Vikings (Wembley Stadium)
This is the stinker game of Sunday’s card, the 0-3 Vikings up against the 0-3 Steelers in London. I think that the Steelers were close on SNF against the Bears without the costly turnovers. If they can tidy that up and Big Ben can protect the football, the Steelers will be able to beat the Vikings who have been ugly to put it kindly to start 2013 and just lost to the Browns at home.
BILLS (+3.0) over Ravens
This is an upset special. Buffalo at home is always a tough matchup and the Bills have the tools to stay with the Ravens, I like them keeping it close especially if you can find a line of 3.5.
Bengals (-3.5) over BROWNS
Lightning won ‘t strike twice and the Bengals actually have a quarterback who can throw the football in Andy Dalton. No chance the Browns pull this one out and I think the line is lower than it should be thanks to their win over the Vikings last week.
Colts (-7.5) over JAGUARS
Seahawks (-2.0) over TEXANS
I have been burned by the Texans one too many times in 2013, I have to go with the Seahawks here. Pete has the boys playing good football and they know they need to prove that they can do it on the road against top competition, this is a spot to do that.
Cardinals (+2) over BUCS
Even at home, I am not touching the mess in Tampa Bay right now with a ten foot pole.
LIONS (-3.0) over Bears
This is going to be a tough NFC North game that should be circled on everybody’s Sunday viewing guide and will come down to a few big plays. I think the Lions will find enough of those at home to take a crucial win today.
CHIEFS (-3.5) over Giants
A tough game to call due to the Giants abysmal performance against the Panthers, but Arrowhead was rocking for the Cowboys game and the Chiefs are already 2-0 against the NFC East. I am calling the sweep for a Chiefs team that is quite frankly better than the Giants this year regardless on if the G-Men bounce back today.
TITANS (-3.5) over Jets
Jake Locker’s fourth quarter drive last week was the stuff of legends, New York will be in trouble coming into Tennessee to face a Titans team that has to be thinking playoffs.
Cowboys (-1) over CHARGERS
It is a pick em’ game and the Chargers have already choked twice this season. Unless you are still massively overrating the Eagles, take the Cowboys.
RAIDERS (+3.0) over Washington’s Racist Named Football Team
Dennis Allen’s mindgames should keep everyone away from the book because nobody knows who is actually going to start today despite Jay Glazer’s “scoopage” that Matt Flynn will get the nod. Still I think the Raiders defense is still being disrespected and can contain a RGIII led offense that has been sputtering. If Flynn/Pryor can pick apart a Washington defense that has been its Achilles Heel all season so far, the Raiders should be able to move to 2-2.
BRONCOS (-10.5) over Eagles
If the Raiders couldn’t cover two touchdowns in Denver I am not giving much of a chance to a horrendous Eagles secondary that gives lax coverage to everybody.
