Each week Just Blog Baby editor Chase Ruttig and Just Blog Baby Podcast cohost Rory Anderson will be coming out with a new mock draft for the 2014 NFL Draft up until draft day in addition to spotlighting who you should watch this bowl season as the offseason nears.

#1 Houston Texans: Teddy Bridgewater, QB UL

Career Stats: 723 completions, 9115 yards, 66 TD’s, 23 INT’s

2013 Stats (To Date): 245 completions, 3268 yards, 25 TD’s 3 INT’s

Rory’s take: Can you think of any other pick in all honesty? Unless for some reason the Texans fall in love with another quarterback then this is Teddy.

Chase’s take: Hard to disagree with this one, unless for some reason the Texans decide to continue the Carr family tradition in Houston out of left field it is very likely that the University of Louisville quarterback is going to go first if the Texans are picking first.

If Bradford is cut by the Rams, the Raiders should grab him in a New York minute! And Hell Yes to Barr!!!

My dad played football next to Tom Jackson for Lee Corso’s Louisville Cardinals. I went to school there and now live in Napa. I am a black hole season ticket holder and a Raider lifer. I wish Teddy could be a Raider so badly, but i know it will never happen. With that said, I have a very intuitive feeling that Mike Evans will be a super star one day. I wouldnt recommend the Raiders picking him at the eight spot, but i fear it may come back and haunt us.
