#3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Taylor Lewan, OT Michigan

Rory’s Take: Lewan is a massive mauler that fits the mold of what Schiano wants in his players. Anthony Barr would also make sense here, but Schiano seems to be bent on having versatile players that match his 43 scheme. There is a lot of leeway here, but the Buccaneers need an offensive tackle as much as they need a pass rusher.

Chase’s Take: Lewan is a player that really shows how topsy turvy the 2014 draft can be based in need and the sheer amount of guys who can be quality players down the road. The Bucs won’t be in the market for a quarterback based on Mike Glennon’s performance since taking over for Josh Freeman. Lewan really helped his draft stock in the Ohio State-Michigan game at the Big House this week, Michigan was getting everything off tackle in the run and pass game. Naturally their senior leader in Lewan was a big part of that. He is a guy who is on my Top 5 want list for the Raiders so hopefully he falls down to where I see him closer to being in the 5-15 range.
