#17 Chicago Bears: Louis Nix, DT ND

Career Stats: 122 tackles, 14 for losses

Rory’s Take: Nix could make an amazing one technique to pair with Henry Melton when he is healthy, or even a three technique if he can develop some quicker explosion in the pass rush.

Chase’s Take: Nix is the best interior pass rusher available in the 2014 NFL Draft. The Fighting Irish defensive tackle was a huge piece of the school’s National Championship appearance last season and he has the makings of a solid gap filler in the NFL. The Bears pride themselves on being a strong defensive unit and they have lost some pieces, expect them to reload with a player like Nix if he is available.

#18 Miami Dolphins: Cameron Erving, OT FSU

Rory’s Take: If the Dolphins want to keep their franchise quarterback in one piece they will need to protect him. The Dolphins should double up on tackles and not only draft one early, but also sign Brandon Albert.

Chase’s Take: Dolphins Offseason Plan: 1) Draft net tackle prospect 2) Don’t let Richie Incognito have his cell phone number
