#4 Oakland Raiders: Trent Murphy, Leo Stan

Rory’s Take: With the Raiders going DT early they need to add a pass rushing threat on the outside. Murphy ‘ stock is taking huge hits because the Falcons staff used him stupidly as a 43 defensive end even though he dropped twenty pounds to be a more explosive outside linebacker. This only benefits the Raiders as they get an absolute steal in round two and now have two rookie pieces that can dominate in the future.

Chase’s Take: Murphy takes a huge drop for us from our Round One pick to Oakland to the second round thanks to a hit and miss Senior Bowl performance. Murphy dropped 20 pounds to play outside linebacker and was instead put at 4-3 defensive end by the Falcons staff which really challenged him. Dropping stock could mean a chance for the Raiders to pick up a steal in the early second round.
