Antonio Cromartie, CB

Age: 29

Reason to Avoid:

The recently released Antonio Cromartie has a great physical skill set. Cromartie is tall, fast, and has great length.

Despite a down year in 2013, Cromartie somehow still made the Pro Bowl. Yet it seems injury and age may be catching up.

Cromartie neither fits the “Character” for the current regime in Oakland nor can justify being a #1 cornerback.

While Charles Woodson makes a great mentor to our young guys in the secondary, Cromartie may have the opposite effect.

I’m not saying Cromartie is a bad guy, but inconsistent effort, a total disregard for tackling, and not to mention the off field “Baby Mama Drama”, should have the Raiders looking in a different direction.

Bottom Line….Struggled last year despite an awesome front 7, Cromartie’s days may be numbered after battling chronic hip injury.
