Coming off a career season, Jason Hatcher could prove valuable for a rebuilding Raiders team.
Hatcher had career highs in sacks, solo tackles and tackles for loss in 2013.
Hatcher continues the trend of the “over 30 years old” free agents defenders to visit the Raiders, though he may be the best of the bunch.
Hatcher could certainly see another two to three years of production, and would be vital to a poor Raiders pass rush.
According to Calvin Watkins of ESPN Dallas-Ft.Worth “When the season ended, Hatcher said he expected to sign a big-money deal as a free agent”
With literally nobody from last year’s starting defensive line, it remains an area of dire importance so expect the talks to intensify between the Raiders and Hatcher if the meeting goes well.
