According to Reports Maurice Jones-Drew an Oakland Raider

NFL. com reports “The Oakland Raiders have agreed to terms with free-agent running back Maurice Jones-Drew, according to CSN Bay Area, who cited two league sources. The terms of the contract were not immediately disclosed.”

Maurice Jones-Drew returns to the Bay. According to reports the Raiders have made it official, and have signed the veteran running back.

Jones-Drew a bay area native, is now poised to finish his career in Oakland close to family and friends.

MJD greatly improves the depth of the Raiders backfield, and provides another veteran presence in the locker room.

Darren McFadden and Jones-Drew, if healthy could form a dynamic duo and at least on paper are one of the best running back combos in the league.

Just hope him and dmac can stay healthy just for one season that backfield would be scary. ..

I wanted them to draft Hyde. Someone is gonna get cut from this backfield. No way we carry 6 RBs.

This could be the best backfield in Oakland since Wheatley and Garner traded carries in the early 2000′s. I am very excited to see these two.

Yes I hope these guys are healthy and can perform, unlike Josh Cribbs last year. I hope they can suit up McFadden, Jones-Drew and Murray. It might be back to the practice squad for Stewart. Seastrunk along with Watkins can be on the return teams (fingers crossed).
