Desean Jackson is visiting in Washington over Monday and Tuesday with reports coming out that negotiations between the NFC East team and the former Philadelphia Eagle are going well. While initial reports that a deal had been reached were quickly nipped in the bud by Ed Werder of ESPN and Ian Rapoport of, the social media world revealed that the Washington camp isn’t above doing a bit of personal recruiting while Jackson is in town.

Late night on Instagram rapper Wale posted a photo with Jackson as well as Pierre Garcon and DeAngelo Hall out on the town in the nation’s capital on Monday night. Showing that Jackson is having some fun with some old rivals out on the town with Washington’s most famous rapper.

Raider fans pulled hard on social media for Jackson with their #DJaxToOakland campaign and the Nation seems like they have set their hearts on landing a potential franchise wide receiver, but with Jackson having a productive day of meetings with Washington’s front office at the team facility as well as out on the town things aren’t looking good for the chances of Jackson landing in California. Raider Nation’s best hope is that the salary cap strapped favorites in the Desean Jackson Sweepstakes fail to find the money to close the deal, if that doesn’t happen it looks like the chance to torture Chip Kelly and play alongside Robert Griffin III may be too much to pass up for Jackson. As of late night Monday things don’t look good for Jackson’s potential return to California to play for his boyhood team in the Raiders
