#2 St Louis Rams: Jake Matthews, OT TAMU
Rory’s Take: The Rams have met with Mathews three times since the combine and the relationship between Fisher and the Mathews family cannot be ignored.
Chase’s Take: St. Louis is going to likely beef up their offense one of two ways should Clowney be off the board whn their name is called by either selecting Jake Matthews/Greg Robinson or Sammy Watkins. Having two first round picks the Rams very likely could go with Jake Matthews as the ties between former Titans head coach and current Rams HC Jeff Fisher and the Matthews family are close and this is a pick that the front office could feel very safe in making on a future franchise left tackle.
