Please Watkins be on the board! Please! Not to draft him , but to trade with Detroit!!! Giving up a 2nd and 3rd round pick ! At 10 we must take Aaron Donald! (Assuming that Evans is off the board) we should have took star Or Sheldon last year and we can not make the same mistake again. Interior pass rush is a much bigger need than WR . #OneNation

They’re not going to take Watkins only to trade him, WR is a huge need for this team, we have no deep threats, and Watkins would fit the bill.

K.. im assuming your a raider fan.. but not sure if you watched the games.. we have 5 that’s 5 wr good receivers.are they elite? Time will tell..why? Because we had no offensive line or a proper QB to get the the ball in time! Streater is a #1 ,he showed that with a bad team last year, d Moore can be a great slot reciever if we can actually have time to get him the ball.. mind you(you may not be a college fball fan) Clemson is not the SEC they are the ACC ,do the research and know that a lot of his yards came from bubble screens and weak DB’s covering him. Hell if we had to take a WR I would hope it’s Evans! True number one since the day he was born! But like I said we need line men to protect the QB AND to harass a QB .thank you for your thoughts though. #One Nation .. if Mack or clowney is on the board at 5 then this would all be meaningless.

  • Pridenpoise

Lose the sarcasm, I’m going to assume that your evaluation of the Raiders receivers is as weak as your evaluation of where we will be picking, anyone that thinks Streater is a number 1 is delusional, and Moore has been terrible, so they need a Number 1, you are the only person I have heard that thinks otherwise, if Clowney is on the board obviously they have to take him, but I think it’s safe to say he won’t be their. I have been a USC fan for longer than you have been alive, so I don’t think I will need to research any college football, maybe you should research who we have picked up in Free agency, you will see on Thursday if Watkins is their he will be wearing silver n black, I could live with Mack as well.

  • Jesse K Cook

Watkins or Mack, Watkins would open up the field and get Rivera and Moore and streater and jones open

  • raidernation

YOU’RE HALF RITE .. IF WATKINS IS THERE WE WILL TAKE HIM. IF WATKINS AND MACK R, THAT I DONT KNOW… BUT STREATER COULD BE A NUMBER #1 RECEIVER..HE ONLY MISS THAT 1000 YARDO BECAUSE TERREL WAS AT THE HELM SO THAT DIDN’T HELP HIM OUT A BIT.. A #1 RECEIVER IS SOMEONE YOU CAN COUNT ON EVEN IF TROWING IT IN THE AIR AND KNOWING HE CAN FIGHT FOR IT. STARTER SHOW FLASHES OF IT 850+ YARDS.

  • CRUZdaddy

Ok, I see your point there.but your clearly not seeing mine! You seen what streater and Riviera did last year with a rookie QB (undrafted at that) and an injured plagued Oline . So don’t sit here and tell me Streater can’t be a number 1 ..D Moore on the other hand struggled with drop passes ,why? Cause he’s not a number 1 but a very solid slot reciever. Defense gives up 30+ points last year yet you believe we need a reciever?!? Yes, I’ve been watching key additions this year like every real fan should. But did we get a solid DT??? No.. did we get a WR ? Yes, James Jones. He’s not elite but had great hands Allah boldin. We must get younger in the trenches so we don’t continue to screw up year after year! Now that we have veterans we need to build a younger team that can learn from them in there short 2 year contracts. And let me just irritate this ” I would not be upset if we did draft Watkins” but at the same time we have sooo many holes to fill with young talent. And this draft does just that! With the tenth pick to get the most solid pick in this draft (Donald) and have an extra 2 a and 3 to pick up a safety for when Charles woodson is gone and still be able to get martavis Bryant/ Devante Adams/Cody latimore etc etc etc.. this draft is DEEP with great receivers but not one elite reciever unless there in the right system(Evans is the closest thing to a lock). All I’m saying is we can’t screw this draft up. And taking anyone other than Mack at 5 would be a mistake. We need more picks inside the top 100 of this draft. Hell even your guy Marqise Lee May be available with our second overall pick! just imagine Moore and Mack together and drafting Smallwood(Uconn) to take over at MLB and come team up with his college friend sio! And that’s what we need young hungry future player with time to develop.

Like the results! Acquiring Evans or Donald on a trade down would rock! Other then that Watkins & Mack. No QB in 2014. Go Raiders!!!

  • Pridenpoise

I THINK YOUR CAPS LOCK IS STUCK, if Streater was a true number 1 this would be conversation we would no be having, I am not the only one that thinks so, there’s no doubt Streater is a good receiver and was a steal, but he is not a game changer, we have nobody on offence that is a game changer. Yes we need to fill positions everywhere, “it’s a deep draft” there’s OL, DT, DE, and they will be their in the second and third round as well. If it turns out that Mack, Clowney and Watkins are gone by the fifth pick I’m ok with the Raiders moving back, just not to the bottom of the first round.

I guess ur half right by what happen last season, but he got almost 1000 yards playing with the likes of Pryor .. So with Schaub at the helm .. just wait and see …..
