It is now official…. Khalil Mack is ready to suit up for the Silver and Black.
Reggie McKenzie and the Raiders were quick to sign their 1st round draft pick to a 4 year deal with of course the 5th year team option.
NFL Media’s Albert Breer reported the deal to be worth $18,677,002, guaranteed.
Gone are the days of long holdouts by incoming rookies. Having Mack in camp as soon as possible is crucial, if the Raiders hope to utilize the full talents of the young outside linebacker.
Mack can now get right to work on improving Oakland’s poor pass rush from last year, along with the rest of the revamped Oakland defense.
It seems the Raiders may have finally found the face of their defense for years to come.
