It is that time of the year again, the Oakland Raiders are in the midst of their annual Rookie Mini Camp held this weekend.

The Raiders draft picks, undrafted free agents and a selection of tryout players are scheduled to attend meetings and practices to get them acclimatized prior to training camp.

This time is crucial for rookies and coaches alike, as they can both get a head start with the playbooks and coaching styles and practices.

The most exciting part for fans is seeing the newly drafted players in the Silver and Black for the first time. It is a great moment for a great draft class.

Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Gate Chronicle continued the praise for Derek Carr, “Carr had a ball, and showed all the things a quarterback can show in non-contact drills with a bunch of strangers: a good arm, good decision-making and leadership skills.”

LOL!!!! Tafur must be a young QB groupie. He made the exact same comments about Tyler Wilson at last years rookie camp. That said, his compliments on Derek Carr are scaring me. If Tafur likes him, he might be a bust. Actually, I would like it better if he didn’t like him
