Dennis Allen Coaching For His Job Conspiracy Theory

After the Oakland Raiders lost 12 games two years in a row, head coach Dennis Allen is probably coaching for his job. Son of deceased owner Al Davis, Mark Davis, has been in the media with the message of “No more excuses.” When you come out with a message like that, someone has to go if the team doesn’t win this year.

In 2013, Allen was voted the worst head coach in the NFL by NFL.com and I’m sure a 4-12 2013 didn’t move him up. Then you have G.M. Reggie McKenzie talking about the “rebuilding phase” starting this year after the two-year “deconstruction phase.” That really made the conspiracy theorist in me wonder if Allen was ever supposed to be the head coach beyond this year.

Now, neither the NFL world nor organization see Allen being the kind of coach that can match wits with the likes of Bill Belichick. But former Raiders head coach Jon Gruden,has matched wits with Belichik before and he’s “getting the itch” to coach again. “My conspiracy theory has Gruden  as the Raiders’ head coach as soon as 2015 if Allen doesn’t win this year.
