In the Oakland there is not much love for the team across the bay, but one thing can be said….they have a great head coach in Jim Harbaugh.

In recent interview with Jason Cole from Bleacher Report, Harbaugh was able to highlight some of his memories of the late, great Al Davis.

Harbaugh was the Quarterbacks Coach for the Oakland Raiders in 2002 and 2003 under Bill Callahan, and was able to shed some light on his time in Oakland, and memories of late owner Al Davis.

“That’s a good goal to strive for. If I could be half the coach and football man that Al Davis was.”

Raider Nation understands and will alway remember the Greatness of Coach Davis.

But few will ever truly understand the many lives Al Davis impacted from coaches, players and fans alike.

“…it was never just a game to him.” Jim Harbaugh

Harbaugh was able to convey the depth and meaning the game of football had on Coach Davis. More than just a game, a passion, which is now carried on through Raider Nation.
