An expected large crowd of travelling Raiders season ticket holders travelling to Napa on Saturday to see the Silver and Black’s weekend practice will also get to see three Oakland players return to the fold as two wideouts battling for a roster spot and veteran defensive lineman Antonio Smith re-entered head coach Dennis Allen’s ranks.
Juron Criner returned to practice on Saturday in addition to offseason pickup Greg Little who hopes to continue to impress after missing a few sessions with a tight hamstring that is healed enough to have the former Cleveland Browns talent return to practice.

Little and Criner’s return in time for the practices leading up to next week’s preseason debut against the Minnesota Vikings is a huge boost for both players cases in cracking the Raiders 53 man roster in a tight wide receiver competition. Criner and Little could both make the team or miss out on a roster spot based on the quality of their training camps and preseason performances so coming back in time for practice will be a benefit to both players.
