Welcome back, Raider Nation.  After 222 days of emptiness, Oakland Raiders football is back on Friday night with the preseason opener against the Vikings in Minnesota.  Much has been said, written and tweeted about the team’s 2014 training camp, but Friday will be the first opportunity for fans to get a look at the 2014 squad, a squad that EA Sports has rated a pathetic 72  for the upcoming Madden ’15 title.

While this isn’t a game that really matters, and it’s likely that most of it will be played out by players who won’t even be with the team in a month, it is still an opportunity to get a look at some of the players who have been emerging in training camp and see what some of our veteran free agent acquisitions look like in Silver and Black.  Here are a few things to look for in Friday’s game:
