With Magic Johnson at the Oakland Raiders practices in Oxnard and Mark Davis meeting with city officials in San Antonio, the future of the Raiders in Oakland has been cast as doubtful during the month of August. In fact the general perception is now that the team is more likely to relocate than to stay in the city they have called home for the majority of franchise history.
According to ESPN’s SportsNation, 63% of Americans (who vote on ESPN polls, important to remember here) believe that the Raiders will leave Oakland, including every single state. That means Californians also believe the Silver and Black will move in the future.

It should be noted that SportsNation polls are far from science and that this should be taken very lightly, but it is interesting to note the public perception surrounding the Oakland Raiders points towards the majority of the country predicting the team will relocate for the second time. Only time will tell, but the growing attitude in the United States is looking towards the future of the Raiders as being outside of Oakland.
