Oakland Raiders look bright in final preseason game

I won’t lie, I thought the Raiders would lose. There is no doubt that the Seattle Seahawks are a talented team. However, the Raiders showed their talent as well.

Derek Carr looked amazing in this game. Carr complete 11 of 13 passes, for 143 yards and three touchdowns. Carr looked confident and comfortable during his time on the field. The offensive line also looked good, as they did not allow a single sack on Carr. Carr could very easily become the starter for Week 1, especially if Schaub’s arm isn’t okay.

Latavius Murray proved himself as a solid third running back behind McFadden and Jones-Drew.  Murray had 8 carries for 41 yards, just under George Atkinson III, who had 8 carries for 63 yards.

If there was one person who looked spectacular tonight, it was Denarious Moore. Many people had their doubts about Moore, and there was even some talk about trading him. If anything, he shut the haters up tonight. Moore led the team in receiving yards tonight, with 58 yards and two touchdowns. Look for more of Moore (pun intended).

T.J Carrie stood out a punt return and cornerback, though his punt return skills over shine those at comer. Special Teams stood out on an early fumble recovery and new Raiders kicker Giorgio Tavecchio was solid. Tavecchio also has a great kicker in Sebastian Janikowski to learn from. Khalil Mack had a quiet night but was all over the field in the pass rush and tipped a pass from Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson.

The Raiders are shaping up to be a dangerous team in the NFL. Look out AFC, the Raiders are coming.
