Don’t worry Oakland Raiders fans, happy days are coming soon!

They’re just not coming this season.

So Never mind every time Darren McFadden starts to get going, they send Maurice Jones-Drew and his 2.3 yards per carry into the game. Never mind the Raiders ran the ball 22 times (McFadden 12) and threw it 54 times on the worst run defense in the NFL. Never mind Brice Butler’s reward for making a 47-yard touchdown catch in Week 6 and a 55-yard catch in Week 7 was one target in Week 8.

Never mind Kenbrell Thompkins’ punishment for dropping his only target in Week 7 was being handed the starting job in Week 8. Never mind the Raiders lost to a bunch of fleas called the Cleveland Browns after they gave the Jacksonville Jaguars their first win. Never mind Matt Schaub is probably the only quarterback in history to throw an interception without taking a snap with the offense.

Never mind the Raiders are now sitting at 0-7 after finishing the softest part of their schedule for the season. And never mind that McFadden hardly ever fumbles and he picked the worst time in the world to do so out in Cleveland. Never mind all that because that embarrassing loss was really a big win on Sunday for the Raiders.

They won their future by earning the right to pick Leonard Williams in the draft.
