Interim head coach Tony Sparano should be seriously considered when looking for next head coach of the Oakland Raiders. Everyone is talking Jim Harbaugh and Jon Gruden but owner Mark Davis said he’s not going to fire G.M. Reggie McKenzie. Plus Gruden has gone Hollywood so that pretty much tells us the likelihood of any of those two becoming the head coach of the Raiders.

So lets come off of all the pipe dreams for now and see if the Raiders can actually have a future with what they have. Sparano was given the worst situation that he could have possibly gotten with so many holes to fill and fires to put out. And despite his 1-6 record so far this year, Sparano has actually made a pretty good case to remain the head coach of the Raiders.
