Oakland Raiders: 53-Man roster projection

Oakland Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio were forced to trim their roster down to the NFL-mandated 75-player maximum on Tuesday, September 1st.
According to Raiders.com, Oakland has waived eight players including wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins and running back Trent Richardson, and also released three other players, waived/injured cornerback Jimmy hall, and placed projected starting right tackle Menelik Watson on injured reserve.
Though one preseason game remains for the Oakland Raiders, some depth players have already solidified their spot on the roster, while others are still in need of an opportunity to earn their keep on the team.
A total of 75 players remain on Oakland’s active roster, including recent addition Lorenzo Alexander, and their final preseason game against the defending NFC champion Seattle Seahawks will be their last opportunity to reveal their ability before final cut-day on September 5.
With that being said, here is a look at what Oakland’s 53-man roster and depth chart should look like come Week 1 of the regular season.
