Surprise Cut

Not sure how much of a surprise it would be if McGill gets cut. McGill registered zero defensive stats in twelve games last year. General Manager Reggie McKenzie has also let plenty of his drafted players go.

However, McGill would be a surprise because he fits the current scheme. As a big corner, he should provide quality depth. The Raiders even gave him reps at safety in minicamp. He played that position in college.

Overall, McGill needs to start developing. If he does not take steps forward, the Raiders will probably use his roster spot elsewhere.
